Before booking - what should you ask your photographer?

To make everything clear and avoid miss-understanding you have to ask the right questions your photographer that for what you are looking for he/she will be able to provide. Before booking a photoshoot make sure you will ask these questions!

How many images I will get?

Remember every photographer has their own style, rules etc. What one photographer offer doesn’t mean another will do the same. To make sure you will ask “How many images I will get“, “Can I get raw and editing photos? If yes what is the additional cost?“

Keep in mind, many photographers don’t send raw images. So if you are looking forward to getting this one double check it with your photographer before making the payment. Sometimes this is an additional cost.

how many people include the price?

Sometimes for X price, you can bring X people but sometimes, special when the price is low include, one person. Keep in mind to ask your photographer it. What is the additional cost for a second person or if you want to have a family photoshoot, they can offer some special packages?

“How many people include in the package?” and “Do you have special package for Family Photoshoot?” make everything clear and will not be any surprises when you will show up with 5 people and book just for one person.

Can I choose the place where to take photos?

Very important question! If you have a special request where want to take a photo and your photographer has only specific places in mind to be don’t disappointed better is double-check. If you want to take photos in your home or office ask them if they will be happy to come over to your place. Sometimes, special for a female photographer can feel unsafe. I could suggest first meet in a public place and later go to your home and take photos.

Change outfit

Next important question to your photographer is if you can change the outfit if there is time for it. Sometimes the plan of visiting the place, taking photos in many spots will be not enough time to additional changing the clothes.

Ask your photographer “Do we will have enough time/place to change outfit?“ or not ask if is okay to just bring another jacket or some accessories. Then you will have at list a little another look.
