Don't mess with your photographer
Let’s talk about it…
Being a photographer is great! Really is! but just sometimes you can really make your photographer crazy! Staying in good contact, respect the time and work can bring you much more than you think. As fun and great is taking photos but is really time-consuming, special about editing photos! As long you are meeting your photographer just for one hour, believe me, she/he is going to spend another hour to editing your images, upload and send you for next unpaid time. What to avoid and how to stay in a good relationship with your photographer?
What to avoid?
10 minutes after photoshoot… where are my photos?!
Didn’t reach home yet from our photoshoot and the ten of messages where are my images?
This kind of questions makes photographers crazy! Asking the same day or even more unbelieved after one hour why they still don’t have images.
This takes time. As we offer all raw images with 24 hours because this count only to reach home, copy images on the computer (sometimes take up to 1 hour), plus sending (sometimes 3-5 hours). For editing images, your photographer needs more time. You can kindly ask before booking or during the photo shoot “How long usually take you to edit one image?” You will see how long will take to edit single photo then can ask “When can I expect our photos to be sent?“ If the photographer will say “7 business days“ is mean Monday-Friday he/she is working (Saturday, Sunday) has day off.
If after the 7 business days you will still not see your images. I could first check spam, other tabs of your email. If you can not really find, then ask your photographer if they send you the images to your email because so far you are unable to find and check the email which one your photographer get is the right now.
Sometimes emails are wrong, your photos went to totally another tab.
I look fat because of you Mr/Ms Photographer!
From beginning! No one is perfect and everyone has some complex that other people can not even realise because this is just in your head. As long you will not tell to your photographer that you don’t like something in yourself too big stomach, nose etc is quite hard to know it.
Simply just say “I don’t really like my fat legs! Let’s try to cover it somehow“ BINGO! Your photographer will start paying attention to it and will try his/her best to cover it. Will guide you how to look slimmer on photos or what to do with your legs to look super sexy even with extra kg.
Communication is the key. You can check many of the courses on how to look better, slimmer on images! Prepare for the photoshoot if you know you are not really feeling comfortable in your skin, tell it to your photographer for what he has to pay attention and please don’t blame him/her that you look fat.
Can I get -90% OFF? Why so expensive?! Is just one hour!
Is one hour our photoshoot but to make you look amazing we need another few hours. In Europe, we don’t really negotiate prices. What you see is what is the standard price. Sometimes when is a group of guests or you want to meet for many hours of photoshoot than that’s okay. You can ask for a discount and that’s fine but if you book just for 1 hour/1.5 hour and for one/two guests, usually this is the standard price. Sometimes you can get some discount when you sign up for the newsletter and is special offers. Try this way ;)
how to stay in a good relationship with your photographer?
Respect, be kind and appreciative. The key behaviours make everything much easier. From our experiences, if someone is kind, respect our time, we see the appreciated we are so grateful for it and always we are more flexible for this kind of person than for someone who is rude, patience and don’t respect our time. What might happen to you staying in a good relationship with your photographer? They might send you a few images free of charge, stay longer for your photoshoot or give you a discount for next photoshoot. Being kind is worth it! Try our tips and we guarantee better images and atmosphere.
